In the glass the wine displays a pale, almost water-white color.  On the nose the wine offers a light intensity of tropical fruit similar to ripe grapefruit or ripe pineapple.  On the palate the wine is dry, light-bodied with mouth-watering acidity.  The flavors seem to be ripe melon and ripe pineapple.  There is a slight hint of sweetness/fruitiness although the wine is dry.  The finish is clean with a short length of lingering melon and pineapple.  Serve chilled between 45F to 50F.
Wine & Food:  Best with simple food preparations.  Pasta and risottos, fresh seafood and fish, salads and other light foods prepared with a minimal number of ingredients. It might work with some Italian hard cheeses and cured meats but experiment.  Remember keep it simple.
Approximate Retail Price: US$8.00
