Luigi Bosca Finca LA LINDA Malbec Rose 2007

kennuncorked Tasting Notes

Appearance:
With the glass tilted, the wine is clear, bright and transparent. The core is pale cherry/medium strawberry color moving to a medium minus light pink rim to  water-white edge.

Nose/Aromas:
Clean with fresh red fruit (raspberry and/or strawberry).  There seems to be an allusive and refreshing hint of spice that might be cloves.  (You be the judge).

Palate:
Dry, medium bodied with mouthwatering acidity and no indication of tannin.  The fruit characteristics seem to be a medium intensity of raspberry, red cherry, and peach that blend together into a complex palate.  There is no alcohol burn (the alcohol level = 13.5%) which indicates that the alcohol is well integrated into the wine.  The perception is a wine virtually in balance with its components.

Finish:
Clean with a long length.

Cost:
Approximate retail price: US$11.00.

Producers Notes:

Made from Malbec grapes, this wine has an appealing light pink color with violaceous hues. On the nose it displays red stone fruit and strawberry aromas. It is a dry and fresh wine with sweet sensations. (testawines.com and luigibosca.com.ar)
