Luigi Bosca Finca LA LINDA Tempranillo 2006

Appearance:
With the glass tilted, the wine is clear and opaque.  The core is a pronounced dark garnet with hints of blue bordering on violet highlights moving to a narrow dark pink rim.

Nose/Aromas:
Clean with a pronounced intensity of  sweet black cherries followed by a moderate++ intensity of dark bitter-sweet chocolate, and vanilla.  There is a slight hint of mint.

Palate:
Dry, full-bodied with medium tannin and medium mouthwatering acidity.  Although a dry wine, the fruit characteristics seem to be pronounced and and rich similar to the nose, especially the perception of a light, pleasant black cherry sweetness. There is no perception of alcohol (the alcohol level = 13.5%) indicating the alcohol in well integrated into the wine and all the components are in balance.

Finish/Length:
Clean with a long finish.

Producers Notes:

Violet red with blackberry and black fruits aromas. Intense wine with great body, complex, velvety finish. Ripe tannins mixed with the vanilla provided by six months ageing in American oak. (testawines.com and luigibosca.com.ar)
