Clean with a medium intensity of leather and tar with hints of grape or cherry jam.

Dry, medium bodied with medium (minus) tannin and medium acidity. The fruit characteristics seem to be light intensity of cherry, blackberry with hints of leather, tar, vanilla along with a very slight hint of mint in the background.  There is no perception of alcohol (the alcohol level = 14.0%) indicating the alcohol in well integrated into the wine and all the components are in balance.

Producers Notes:

With deep ruby red color, this wine displays ripe red berries, spice and black pepper aromas. Its intense initial taste is complemented by the softness and sweetness of its tannins. It is a wine with a great body and structure. (testawines.com and luigibosca.com.ar)
